Maria Moran

Maria Moran, CPA, CGFM became the Comptroller for the Town of Wilton in October of 2018. Maria’s responsibilities include oversight of accounting transactions that impact the Town as well as required financial reporting. Prior to this position, Maria was a Principal Accountant for the New York State Office of the State Comptroller, where she was responsible for review of financial statements and implementation of accounting standards issued by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Maria obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John’s University in Queens NY and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Governmental Financial Manager. Maria lives in the town of Wilton with her family and is a member of several professional and charitable organizations.
