The Assessor's office is responsible for determing and maintaining assessments, property inventory records, ownership interests, exemptions and maps on an estimated 6,481 parcels.
The Assessor's office oversees the following:
Produce the Tentative and Final Rolls for the Town on a yearly basis.
Assist taxpayers complete the following exemptions: Seniors, Alternative Veterans, Enhanced Senior Star, Basic Star, Disability, Clergy, Agricultural and Wholly Exempt.

Defend the Town of Wilton's assessment roll in cases involving the Board of Assessment Review (BAR), Small Claims Hearings and Certiorari Proceedings.
