The Empire Center has released a “Local Government Website Report Card for 2014”.
We are delighted to report that the Town of Wilton was rated “The Best” website in the Towns category.
Of the 500 websites rated which include Counties, Cities, Towns, Villages and School Districts only 3 other municipalities scored higher than the Town of Wilton.
The town received perfect scores in the following categories: Public Meetings, Financial Reports, Taxes and Fees, Expenditures and Facilities and Services, we received bonus points in the Public Meeting category for having our videos of the Town Board meetings available on our website.
