The town owned Camp Saratoga on Scout road offers over 22 acres of woodlands, wetlands, streams and open areas including 5 miles of trails for your hiking pleasure, beautiful Delegan pond for fishing, cabins and a pavillion for community and group activities. Camp Saratoga located at 90 Scout Road is 22-acre former Boy Scout camp owned and maintained by the Town of Wilton for passive recreation and environmental education. It serves as the main entry to the surrounding NYSDEC lands. Camp Saratoga includes Scout pond, also known as Deegan Pond, a popular fishing location for children, walking trails, seasonal activities, a barbeque and pavilion area and camping cabins and lean-tos availble for group rental.
Climb an authentic fire tower and view a replica fire observer’s cabin without having to climb a mountain! Cornell Hill Fire Tower is located at Camp Saratoga.
There are approximately ten miles of hiking and walking trails open to the public in the Town of Wilton. Camp Saratoga includes 5 miles of walking trails. Additional trails include Fox Parcel, Neilmann Parcel, Old Gick Farm and Opdahl Farm.
