The Town of Wilton Traffic Planning Study was initially prepared in 1992 to address the traffic concerns created by the rapid pace of development in the Town at that time.
The study was most recently updated in 2015.

A Town-wide Traffic Planning Study is being completed to address continuing concerns created by growth in and around the Town of Wilton. The draft version of this document is available to review at Wilton Town Hall (22 Traver Road). Once finalized the document will be posted on this webpage.
In 2018, a Traffic Operations Study was conducted to examine the existing and projected traffic conditions and develop improvement strategies that would improve traffic operations at NYS Route 50 in the vicinity of the Jones Road and Old Gick Road/Ingersoll Road intersections.
In 2015 The Town of Wilton retained Greenman-Pedersen Engineers Inc. (GPI) to update the Traffic Planning Study. This 2015 update was accepted by the Town Board on July 2, 2015.
