A message from our Town Supervisor

A message from our Town Supervisor

As Supervisor of the Town of Wilton, I would like to welcome you to our community.  The Town Board and I are very proud of the Town of Wilton and Saratoga County.  Over the past 20 years, the Town has experienced significant residential and commercial growth.  The adoption of a comprehensive Master Plan insures quality growth continues to be well balanced and the Town’s rural environment is maintained.  Additionally, our proximity to Saratoga Springs, a vibrant city with many cultural and recreational activities, significantly adds to the quality of life here in Wilton.

The Town Board takes great pride in being able to provide a wide variety of quality services to our residents while maintaining the Town’s no-tax status.  Recreational facilities are available for use by our residents and neighbors.  Gavin Park offers many youth and adult recreational programs.  Our Senior Citizen Complex on Traver Road offers social, medical, and educational programs for the elderly of our town and the surrounding communities.  The Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park is a 3000 acre nature preserve for the preservation of the endangered Karner Blue Butterfly.  This park is open to the public for passive recreational activities such as hiking, cross country skiing and horseback riding.

Our Town Board meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month and we welcome input from our residents and neighbors.  Again, welcome to the Town. Please feel free to call me at any time with any problems or concerns that you may have.
