TOWN OF WILTON
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Town of Wilton, New York, County of Saratoga, will receive sealed proposals to furnish HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT: a used truck mounted combination vacuum and jet action culvert cleaner, in accordance with Specification No. HW2019-1 (OR EQUIVALENT) until Monday, April 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at Wilton Town Hall, 22 Traver Road, Gansevoort, New York when the proposals will be publicly opened and read.
Proposals must be made upon and submitted in a sealed envelope. The Specification No. must be written on the envelope. There shall be made changes made in the phraseology of the proposal. Proposals that are illegible or that contain any omissions, erasures, alterations or additions, or items not called for in the itemized proposal, or that contain irregularities of any kind may be rejected as informal. The proposal page must be signed by the bidder or the bidder’s authorized representative. Each proposal, if more than one is submitted, shall be sealed in a separate envelope with all required literature, explanation, forms and bid deposit. Corporations submitting proposals shall be authorized to do business in the State of New York.
The Town Board reserves the right to reject parts of any or all bids and reserves the right to accept any alternate proposal which does not significantly alter the bid specifications. The Town of Wilton practices Best Value Methodology in accordance with Local Law No. 1 of 2014.
Specifications may be obtained at the Town Clerk’s office at 22 Traver Road, Gansevoort, New York, during regular business hours. All questions regarding this bid should be directed to the Town Clerk at 518-587-1939, Ext. 210.
