Public Notice - Resolution to expend Funds - “Route 50 Traffic Safety and Pedestrian Connectivity Project”

PUBLIC NOTICE

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Wilton, New York, County of Saratoga, at a regular meeting on June 6, 2024, attended by a majority of Town Board members unanimously voted to a adopt Resolution to expend funds from the Traffic Mitigation Fund for Capital Improvements known as the “Route 50 Traffic Safety and Pedestrian Connectivity Project”.

The purpose of this Reserve Fund is to withdraw and expend funds from such Reserve Fund for the purpose of the design and consulting of the Route 50 Traffic Safety and Pedestrian Connectivity Project and does hereby resolve to authorize the withdrawal and expenditure of $97,804.80 from such Reserve Fund and does hereby authorize and direct the Supervisor of the Town of Wilton to transfer such sum of $97,804.80 from such Reserve Fund (DA5111) to Capital Projects Fund (H5112.4) for the design and
consulting of the Route 50 Capital Project, as provided by law.

The Chief Fiscal Officer shall account for the Traffic Mitigation Fund in a manner which maintains the separate identity of the cash and investments of the Reserve Fund.

The resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum pursuant to subdivision 4 of section 6-c of the General Municipal Law.
