Notice Of Adoption Of Resolution Subject To Permissive Referendum

WILTON TOWN BOARD
NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on September 4, 2014, the Town Board of the Town of Wilton, Saratoga County, New York, adopted a Resolution authorizing the expenditure of $205,000 from the Town Highway Equipment Reserve Fund for the purchase of a 2015 Western Star 4900 Heavy Duty Tandem Dump Truck with plow package.  The Highway Equipment Reserve Fund was established for the purpose of financing the cost of acquisition of the type of machinery and equipment used by the Town Highway Department.  This Resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Section 6-c of the General Municipal Law and will not take effect until such time as provided therein.

A full copy of the Resolution is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Wilton Town Hall, 22 Traver Road, Wilton, New York, and can be examined  by  any  Town elector during normal business hours.
